Dayton Freight Lines, Inc. is seeking a Recruiter to support service centers with recruitment, hiring, training and onboarding of candidates in a fast-paced transportation environment.

You will travel to various service centers, career fairs and events to source talent, collaborating with the Recruiting Manager to align strategies and meet hiring goals. This role emphasizes interviewing, onboarding, and maintaining strong staffing communications with leadership across locations.

Aufgaben

• Assist service centers with recruitment, hiring, training and onboarding of candidates.
• Travel to service centers, job fairs, school presentations and hiring events as needed.
• Develop and source candidate pipelines via social media, job boards, LinkedIn, Indeed, referrals, recruiters and agencies.
• Review applications for candidates at various levels and recruit hourly employees and interns.
• Coordinate interviews and follow up with candidates throughout the process.
• Set up interviews for Hiring Managers and advance candidates through the process in ATS.
• Create training schedules for new employees and assist with onboarding at service centers.
• Train new service center employees and maintain staffing communications with leadership.

As a Recruiter, you will assist Service Centers in the recruitment, hiring, training and onboarding of quality candidates.

Responsibilities

• Willingness to travel to various Service Centers, Career Fairs, School or Club presentations, and hiring events
• Collaborate with the Recruiting Manager to align recruiting strategies to meet goals
• Develop and source a strong pipeline of candidates using a variety of methods including social media, job boards, LinkedIn, Indeed, employee referrals, search agencies, etc
• Reviewing applications for candidates at various levels
• Recruiting hourly employees and Interns
• Interviewing applicants both in-person and virtually
• Setting up interviews for Hiring ManagersFollowing up with candidates during the interview process
• Advancing candidates through the Interview and Hiring Process in applicant tracking system
• Creating Training Schedule for new employees
• Assisting new hires with on-boarding and orientation at the Service Center level
• Training new Service Center employees
• Maintaining communication with Service Center leadership on staffing needs
• Other duties as assigned
