Job summary

Dayton Freight Lines, Inc. is seeking a Recruiter to support Service Centers with recruitment, hiring, training and onboarding of quality candidates.

Traveling to various Service Centers, Career Fairs, school or club presentations, and hiring events is required. You will collaborate with the Recruiting Manager, develop a strong pipeline using social media, job boards, LinkedIn, Indeed, referrals, and search agencies; review applications, interview candidates, and coordinate onboarding across

• Detail oriented and highly organized with strong time management.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience conducting interviews and reviewing applications is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate with leadership and HR teams.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

As a Recruiter, you will assist Service Centers in the recruitment, hiring, training and onboarding of quality candidates.

Responsibilities

• Willingness to travel to various Service Centers, Career Fairs, School or Club presentations, and hiring events
• Collaborate with the Recruiting Manager to align recruiting strategies to meet goals
• Develop and source a strong pipeline of candidates using a variety of methods including social media, job boards, LinkedIn, Indeed, employee referrals, search agencies, etc
• Reviewing applications for candidates at various levels
• Recruiting hourly employees and Interns
• Interviewing applicants both in-person and virtually
• Setting up interviews for Hiring ManagersFollowing up with candidates during the interview process
• Advancing candidates through the Interview and Hiring Process in applicant tracking system
• Creating Training Schedule for new employees
• Assisting new hires with on-boarding and orientation at the Service Center level
• Training new Service Center employees
• Maintaining communication with Service Center leadership on staffing needs
• Other duties as assigned
