Job summary

Liberty 1 Lending is seeking a proactive Recruiter to manage the full recruitment cycle—from sourcing to onboarding—within the mortgage industry. You will build a strong candidate pipeline, partner with leadership on talent gaps, and maintain compliant records using ADP ATS.

The ideal candidate demonstrates negotiation and communication prowess, can work independently, and is motivated to achieve hiring goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of mortgage industry experience.
• Strong negotiation skills to influence hiring decisions.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with candidates and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with HR sourcing techniques and employee relations practices.
• Experience managing employer branding and social media is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment process including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline through job boards, networking, referrals, and events.
• Partner with leadership to understand market needs and talent gaps.
• Engage in cold calling and lead generation to identify candidates.
• Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS (ADP) and ensure compliance with laws.

The suitable candidate will oversee the complete recruitment process, from identifying candidates to assisting with onboarding new hires. The Recruiter will play a crucial role in aligning talent acquisition strategies with the objectives of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding candidates
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates through job boards, networking, referrals, social media, and industry events
• Partner with leadership to understand market needs, growth plans, and talent gaps
• Engage in cold calling and lead generation to identify potential candidates
• Maintain precise records of candidate interactions and progress within the Applicant Tracking system ADP
• Ensure adherence to employment and labor laws throughout the recruitment process
• Foster relationships with internal stakeholders to support succession planning and talent management initiatives

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of experience within the mortgage industry
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence hiring decisions effectively
• Highly driven, persuasive, and self-motivated with excellent communication skills
• Familiarity with HR sourcing techniques and employee relations practices
• Ability to conduct research on industry trends to enhance recruitment strategies
• Experience in managing social media for employer branding purposes is an advantage
