Job summary

Hope Human Services has three locations in WA state: Lakewood (Corporate office), Vancouver, and Spokane. We are currently seeking an experienced Recruiter for our Lakewood location. This position will also be cross trained to provide back-up to the local HR team.

Job Description

The Recruiter will have a focus on recruiting by screening applicants, scheduling interviews, and assisting managers with the interview process. To succeed in this role, you must be enthusiastic, able to speak to a high volume of applicants daily and should be familiar with using HR software and data tracking tools.

Cross training will include working with the local HR team to learn the daily HR processes to include onboarding, benefits enrollments, record-keeping, file maintenance, and HRIS entry. Ultimately, you should be able to contribute to the attainment of specific recruiting goals and overall results of the HR department.

Wage Range: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour

Position Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recruiting and/or customer service experience preferred
• In-depth understanding of recruiting and sourcing tools
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle data with confidentiality
• Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Consistently report to work on time prepared to perform duties of position
• Demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, patience, and timely response to all requests
• Embrace the diversity of our work force and community and treat others with respect without prejudice and bias
• Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication that is clear and well-organized
• Computer literate; skilled in automated HR information systems, MS Word/Excel, and e-mail

• Demonstrated ability to organize, plan, and manage workload and special projects.
• Able to pass a criminal background check with the State of Washington and maintain clearance during tenure of employment
• Valid Washington State driver's license
