Job summary

A recruitment firm is seeking a Veteran Recruiter to support military-focused recruiting initiatives. This role prioritizes building strong relationships with transitioning service members and connecting them with leadership opportunities in the private sector. The ideal candidate should have 2+ years of recruiting experience, especially with military populations, and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. This is a temporary assignment with potential for extension, based in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-cycle or high-volume recruiting experience.
• Experience working with veterans or military populations preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with military transition resources and veteran networks.
• Source high-caliber candidates through military communities.
• Represent the organization at veteran hiring events.
• Conduct behavioral interviews to evaluate candidates.
• Manage candidates through a structured recruiting funnel.
• Track weekly metrics, interviews, and pipeline progress.
• Partner with internal leadership to align recruiting outcomes.

About the Role

You’ll partner with military transition resources and internal stakeholders to identify high-potential candidates, assess fit, and guide them through the recruiting process from initial outreach through onboarding support.
