Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to manage full-cycle recruiting for engineering, product, and research & development positions. This role will work closely with business leaders and HR partners to develop effective recruiting strategies, identify highly qualified technical talent, and provide consultative guidance throughout the hiring process.
The ideal candidate is an experienced recruiter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced technology environment, excels at proactive sourcing, and can independently manage recruiting processes from initial intake through offer acceptance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full recruiting lifecycle, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and closing.
- Recruit for a variety of technical positions, including software engineering, product management, and R&D roles.
- Develop proactive sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean and X-ray searches, referrals, technical communities, and other talent sources.
- Build relationships with passive candidates and develop pipelines for recurring and difficult-to-fill positions.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, establish recruiting priorities, and provide guidance on market conditions, compensation, and expected timelines.
- Serve as a trusted recruiting advisor by providing market insights and constructively challenging hiring strategies when appropriate.
- Manage candidate offers and negotiations, including compensation discussions, counteroffers, competing opportunities, and closing strategies.
- Support structured and inclusive interview processes by preparing interview teams and helping establish effective evaluation practices.
- Partner with HR and business leaders to develop strategies that improve diverse talent pipelines and address hiring gaps.
- Provide a high-quality candidate experience through consistent communication and timely follow-up.
- Maintain accurate candidate and requisition information within the ATS and CRM.
- Monitor recruiting metrics, including pipeline activity, time-to-fill, conversion rates, and sourcing effectiveness.
- Represent the organization at industry events, networking opportunities, and technical recruiting events.
- Support recruiting initiatives, process improvements, and the implementation of emerging recruiting technologies and tools.
Qualifications:
- 4–6 years of progressive Talent Acquisition or recruiting experience.
- Experience recruiting technical talent within a technology, software, SaaS, or similarly fast-paced environment.
- Strong background recruiting for software engineering, product, R&D, or other highly technical positions.
- Demonstrated success sourcing and closing candidates across a range of levels, including senior individual contributors and management.
- Experience managing compensation discussions and negotiating offers through acceptance.
- Strong hands-on sourcing experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, X-ray search, and passive candidate outreach.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously while maintaining a high level of candidate and hiring manager service.
- Strong consultative, communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
- Comfortable using recruiting data and metrics to evaluate pipeline health and adjust recruiting strategies.
- Experience working with ATS and CRM platforms; Workday Recruiter experience is preferred.
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating with a strong sense of ownership and urgency.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Hybrid position requiring 2–3 days per week in the Boston office.
- Role will primarily support engineering, product, and R&D recruiting.
- Requires the ability to effectively partner with senior-level stakeholders and hiring managers.
- Strong emphasis on proactive sourcing, passive talent engagement, and consultative recruiting.
