Job Description:

The Tech Recruiter will support experienced-hire recruiting with an emphasis on technical and specialized positions. This individual will manage multiple openings simultaneously, proactively source candidates, conduct initial screenings, coordinate recruiting activities, and partner closely with hiring managers throughout the hiring process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and engage qualified candidates for technical and specialized professional openings
• Conduct initial candidate screenings to evaluate experience, qualifications, and overall alignment with open positions
• Manage multiple active requisitions while working toward established hiring goals and timelines
• Partner with hiring managers to understand talent needs and develop targeted recruiting and sourcing strategies
• Build candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking, market research, and ongoing outreach
• Maintain accurate candidate and requisition information within the applicant tracking system
• Coordinate interviews and ensure candidates receive timely communication throughout the hiring process
• Gather interview feedback and help move candidates efficiently through each stage of recruitment
• Provide hiring teams with updates on candidate pipelines, recruiting activity, and market conditions
• Track recruiting metrics and communicate progress to internal stakeholders
• Support offer discussions and help manage candidate expectations through the closing process
• Develop strong working relationships with recruiting partners, hiring managers, and business leaders
• Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes and the overall candidate experience

Qualifications:

• 1 to 4 years of Talent Acquisition or recruiting experience
• Previous recruiting experience within professional services, staffing/recruiting agencies, technology, or IT environments preferred
• Exposure to sourcing or recruiting for technical positions is highly preferred
• Experience sourcing and engaging candidates through multiple recruiting channels
• Ability to build effective relationships with hiring managers and employees at varying levels of seniority
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities and requisitions in a fast-moving environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to use recruiting data and pipeline activity to support hiring decisions and improve processes
• Hybrid position based in downtown Chicago
• Candidates should be comfortable supporting multiple requisitions and working with hiring teams across different functions
