Job summary

AbiMar Foods, Inc. in Abilene, TX is seeking a Recruiter to plan, develop and implement recruiting strategies supporting staffing objectives. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

You will execute a transparent, measurable recruiting process; post jobs on multiple platforms; consult with hiring managers; promote diversity; assist HR duties; and build community relationships to reach recruiting KPIs while aligning with the Company Mission.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' of direct related experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred and/or a combination of education and relevant experience.
• HR Certification preferred.
• Bilingual preferred ( Spanish).
• Solid basic knowledge of human resources laws, practices, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Execute a recruiting and hiring process that is transparent and measurable to aid in setting continuous improvement goals.
• Stay up to date with current recruiting methods.
• Consult with hiring managers to discuss staff requirements.
• Post jobs using multiple platforms, schedule interviews and provide a list of candidates to the hiring manager.
• Plan and execute a diversity strategy to attract, hire, and maintain a diverse workplace.
• Assist in HR related duties: status changes, entering new hires and terminations.
• Builds and maintains relationships with members of the community.
• Plans, coordinates, and executes special events that will promote the company to reach the recruiting goals.
• Responds to inquiries from community members and other interested parties.
• Track assigned KPI's related to recruiting and community outreach.
• Ensure that all activities are consistent with Company Mission Statement
• Operate job-related equipment with or without an accommodation
• Meet physical demands of job with or without an accommodation
• Perform other duties as assigned
