The Recruiter is responsible for supporting the organization’s talent acquisition efforts by identifying, attracting, screening, and coordinating qualified candidates for open positions. This position partners with hiring managers, local HR teams, and Corporate Human Resources to understand staffing needs, maintain an effective recruiting process, and provide a positive candidate experience from initial contact through offer and pre-employment activities.
- Partner with hiring managers and local HR teams to understand staffing needs, position requirements, qualifications, and hiring priorities
- Manage assigned job openings throughout the recruiting process from requisition through accepted offer
- Create and post job openings using approved job descriptions and recruiting platforms
- Source qualified candidates through job boards, recruiting platforms, referrals, networking, and other appropriate recruiting methods
- Review applications and resumes to identify candidates who meet position requirements
- Conduct initial candidate screenings to evaluate experience, qualifications, availability, compensation expectations, and overall alignment with position requirements
- Coordinate interviews between candidates, hiring managers, local HR teams, and other applicable stakeholders
- Maintain timely communication with candidates throughout the recruiting and selection process
- Provide hiring managers with qualified candidates and assist with maintaining momentum throughout the interview and selection process
- Conduct candidate follow-up and coordinate next steps based on hiring manager feedback
- Prepare and extend employment offers in accordance with established company practices and approval requirements
- Coordinate required pre-employment activities, including background checks, drug testing, and other applicable requirements
- Partner with local HR teams to ensure a smooth transition from recruiting into the onboarding process
- Maintain accurate and current candidate, requisition, interview, offer, and hiring information within the applicant tracking system or other applicable systems; ensure required recruiting and applicant documentation is maintained in accordance with company procedures and applicable recordkeeping requirements
- Maintain applicable applicant and EEO records and support required reporting
- Monitor open positions and recruiting activity and provide status updates to hiring managers and HR leadership
- Develop and maintain candidate pipelines for frequently recruited and difficult-to-fill positions
- Identify recruiting challenges and recommend alternative sourcing strategies or process improvements
- Support recruiting activities associated with company growth, new locations, acquisitions, and increased staffing needs
- Attend career fairs, hiring events, community events, and other recruiting activities
- Develop relationships with schools, workforce organizations, community partners, and other recruiting resources as appropriate
- Assist with development and maintenance of recruiting materials, templates, processes, and resources
- Promote consistent recruiting and selection practices across the organization
- Maintain knowledge of company operations, positions, departments, and organizational structure to effectively communicate opportunities to candidates
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements
Qualifications & Educational Requirements
- High school diploma
- Minimum of two (2) years of relevant recruiting, human resources, staffing, or related experience
- Experience sourcing, screening, and coordinating candidates through the recruiting process
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, recruiting platforms, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple open positions, candidates, hiring managers, and deadlines simultaneously
- Working knowledge of applicable employment and recruiting practices and regulations
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or related field
- Previous corporate recruiting or staffing agency experience
- Experience recruiting for manufacturing, construction, skilled trades, professional, and/or administrative positions
- Experience supporting recruiting across multiple companies or locations
- Experience with high-volume recruiting
- Professional HR or recruiting certification
Job Requirements
- This position is primarily performed in a professional office environment and requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to communicate regularly by phone, video conference, email, and other communication methods with candidates and internal teams.
- Occasional travel to company locations, career fairs, recruiting events, schools, or other recruiting activities may be required.
