Easterseals PORT Health in Wilmington, NC is seeking a dynamic Recreation and Wellness Program Supervisor to lead the EMPOWER Recreation & Wellness program in Wilmington. This full-time role involves planning, facilitating, and overseeing recreational and wellness activities, while supervising direct care recreation staff.

Qualifications

Two (2) years of supervisor experience overseeing staff and implementation of activities within the program.
Bachelor's degree in recreation, special education, or related human service field preferred.
Two years’ experience with developmental disabilities and mental health populations preferred.
Valid driver's license, good driving record and current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

Plan, facilitate, and implement recreational and wellness activities.
Assist in recruitment of Direct Support staff including interviews and hiring.
Review participant files and assign staff based on participant needs and abilities.
