Qualifications

• Two (2) years of supervisor experience overseeing staff and implementing activities within the program.
• Bachelor’s degree in recreation, special education, or related human services preferred.
• Two years’ experience with developmental disabilities and mental health populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, facilitate, and implement recreational and wellness activities for the EMPOWER program.
• Supervise direct care recreation staff, including interviews and hiring support.
• Review participant files and match participants with appropriate staff assignments.
• Ensure activities are developed and executed based on participants’ needs, interests, and abilities.
