A busy recreation department is seeking a Guest Services Supervisor in Livonia to lead a team of part-time staff in delivering excellent customer experiences. Key responsibilities include supervising operations, staff training, and managing guest services effectively. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of related experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to quality service.
Livonia Parks and Recreation is looking for a new Guest Services Supervisor to lead a team of high-performing part-time staff in delivering quality customer service and guest experience. This employee shall be available to the public and work a flexible schedule. This may include working evenings, weekends, and holidays. The Recreation Supervisor - Guest Services will:
$48,401.60 - $56,409.60 Annually
Starting Salary: $48,401.60
After Six Months of Successful Employment: $49,441.60
After One Year of Successful Employment: $50,252.80
Maximum salary is achieved after three successful years of employment.

NOTE: In the event the number of qualified applicants exceeds eight, an evaluation will be made of the applicants andthe eight applicants with the most appropriate and responsible combination of experience and training will be invited tothe Interview. Candidates must pass the Interview to be placed on the Eligible List.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of and ability to use:
POS operations, budgeting, and reporting using various applications such as CivicRec, MS Excel, etc.
Ability to:
Communicate effectively orally, and in writing.
Skill in:
Cash handling.
NOTE: At the time of appointment, applicants are required to pass a pre-employment medical examination conducted bya physician authorized by the City of Livonia.
