Job summary

City and County of Denver’s Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a Recreation Coordinator to support on-site operations at a Denver recreation center. You will handle administrative tasks, purchasing, invoicing, and customer service to ensure smooth daily operations.

The ideal candidate brings five years of recreation or related experience, a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, CPR/First Aid certification within six months, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Five years of experience in recreation, education or a closely related field.
• Education/Experience equivalency may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Receive, assign, track, and close Salesforce cases related to Parks and Recreation.
• Prepare and disseminate field communications and notices.
• Review, verify, and reconcile monthly purchasing card transactions.
• Process purchase requisitions, invoices, and payments per city rules.
• Track inventory, coordinate ordering for supplies and materials.
• Monitor departmental mailboxes and route inquiries to staff.
