Job summary

Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa is seeking energetic team members to facilitate guest experiences and activities. You will set up and conduct archery, paintball, and bicycle activities, maintain safety and cleanliness, and assist in guiding tours while delivering exceptional hospitality.

Ideal candidates are friendly, reliable, and able to work in varied weather conditions, contributing to memorable guest experiences at our historic resort.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented and able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Demonstrates ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate commitment to safety and reduce risk for guests and employees.
• Communicate resort events, hours of operation and activities to guests and staff.
• Maintain knowledge of activities operations and daily schedule in Activities Software.
• Set up and maintain archery, paintball and bicycle activities and facilitate those activities.
• Keep activity areas clean and prepared, including trash removal and vehicle maintenance.
• Stock fire pit fuel and manage s'mores setup.
• Support team-building activities and new activity development.
• Provide guided tours and ensure guest expectations are met.

Overview

To facilitate activities for Guests in a professional and memorable manner.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate commitment to making a conscientious effort to eliminate or reduce the risk of injury to our guests and employee partners, damage to our property or the property of others. Know the correct action to take in the event of an emergency, and demonstrate this knowledge by acting appropriately in the event of an emergency.
• Know and share information about the resort and activities, demonstrating this knowledge by accurately communicating daily events, hours of operation and resort/activity information to our guests and employee partners.
• Maintain a basic knowledge of operations in activities departments.
• Maintain the ability to check the daily schedule in Activities Software applications.
• Set up and maintain archery, paintball and bicycle rental activities and facilitate archery, paintball and bicycle activities.
• Maintain cleanliness of activity areas including: trash removal, cleaning/fueling activity vehicles, and pressure washing.
• Stock fire pit fuel and s'mores set up.
• Maintain pro‑active work ethic.
• Assist, as needed, in Team build Activities.
• Follow written and verbal instructions.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to meet or exceed Guest Expectations.
• Know, understand and follow all Omni Corporate and department policies.
• Ability to perform all essential functions of a Tour Guide.
• Ability to safely operate tractor for hayrides.
• Ability to give archery lessons.
• Ability to lead guided Mtn. Bike Tours.
• Ability to participate in new activity development.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years old & up.
• Tools and Equipment: Radio, First Aid kits, Signaling devices and techniques.
• Company Vehicles, UTV.
• Working Environment: Fast paced, extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, and wet).
