This position is assigned to the Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) Fitness, Sports, and Deployed Support Branch; Fleet Readiness; Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC); NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY HAMPTON ROADS NORTHWEST CHESAPEAKE, VA MWR AQUATICS. The incumbent provides lifeguard duties, safeguards lives, and assists with aquatic training, education, and general support at the installation.
NF-1: Closer supervision, guided by supervisors or leads, with limited decision-making authority.
NF-2: Knowledge of safety rules, policies, chemical testing, rescue techniques, and effective communication skills.
