A leading organization is seeking Lifeguards at various levels to ensure the safety of patrons at their facilities. The positions require certifications in Lifeguard Training, CPR, and First Aid, with responsibilities ranging from safeguarding to instructing swimming skills. Candidates must be prepared to work flexible hours and complete necessary training within a specified timeframe.

This is an entry-level position for hires without current certifications. Once certified, they may be non-competitively transferred to the next level. This level does not perform lifeguarding duties until certified and must complete all training within 30 days of hire.
Responsible for safeguarding patrons, enforcing rules, rescuing swimmers in danger, administering first aid, and maintaining pool safety and cleanliness. Also performs routine chemical and temperature readings, housekeeping, minor repairs, and facility opening/closing duties.
In addition to lifeguarding, responsible for instructing swimming skills, maintaining attendance, and preparing reports. Ensures safety, enforces rules, performs testing and housekeeping, and provides information about facilities and programs. Attends training and maintains certifications.
Level 1: Swim 300 yards continuously, tread water for 2 minutes, swim 20 yards with a 10-pound object, and complete a timed rescue.
Level 2: Current Lifeguard/CPR and First Aid certification, swim 300 yards, and demonstrate emergency response skills.
Level 3: Same certifications as Level 2, swim 500 yards, perform basic stroke techniques, and demonstrate advanced safety skills.
Must pass drug and background checks, complete installation records check for child care positions, and adhere to safety policies. Participation in electronic funds transfer and E-Verify is required. Some positions may require a probationary period.
Required documents include resume, proof of education/training, separation notices, military or federal employment documentation, and foreign credential evaluations if applicable.
