Job summary

Phoenix House of New York – Long Island is seeking a Supervisor of Recovery Support in Wainscott, NY. You will plan, advocate, implement, and coordinate a proactive array of services for patients and support the program administration.

This role requires supervising RSS staff, training, scheduling, after-hours on-call duties, and weekly meetings. We offer comprehensive benefits, including employer-paid medical insurance and a strong commitment to values-based care.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience in a substance use disorder treatment setting.
• Experience with case management and knowledge of housing systems.
• CASAC preferred; Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor – Trainee (CASAC) in good standing may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Recovery Support Staff (RSS) supervisors and document all supervisions in Relias.
• Oversee and assign duties to Recovery Support Staff.
• Train and onboard new RSS staff.
• Develop the weekly RSS schedule and ensure coverage for all shifts.
• On call after hours to RSS for any emergencies.
• Conduct monthly RSS staff meetings.
• Develop, with the Program Director, the RSS staff meeting agendas and attend all case conferences weekly.
