Job summary

Phoenix House of New York | Long Island is seeking a Supervisor of Recovery Support to lead RSS staff and coordinate a comprehensive, individualized service array for clients. The role involves planning, advocacy, and administrative tasks to support recovery outcomes in a values-driven, evidence-based program.

You will supervise RSS staff, develop weekly schedules, and participate in weekly case conferences, while ensuring staff adherence to ethical practices and program standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience in substance use disorder treatment, including co-occurring disorders.
• Experience with case management and knowledge of substance abuse, mental health, health, vocational/educational/training, and housing systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Recovery Support Staff (RSS) supervisors and document all supervisions in Relias.
• Oversee and assign duties to Recovery Support Staff.
• Train and onboard new RSS staff.
• Develop the weekly RSS schedule and ensure coverage for all shifts.
• On call after hours to RSS for emergencies.
• Conduct monthly RSS staff meetings.
• Develop, with the Program Director, RSS staff meeting agendas and attend all case conferences weekly.
