Job summary

Phoenix House of New York is seeking a Supervisor of Recovery Support to lead RSS staff and coordinate comprehensive, individualized services for patients at the East Hampton/Wainscott location. The role includes administrative support for the program and ensuring coverage across shifts.

You will supervise RSS staff, develop weekly schedules, train new hires, and participate in case conferences, all while upholding a values-based, compassionate approach to recovery support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Bachelor’s degree a plus
• CASAC preferred
• Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor – Trainee (CASAC) in good standing
• Minimum two years’ experience working in a substance use disorder treatment setting, including working with patients with co-occurring disorders.

Responsibilities

• Plan, advocate, implement, and coordinate a proactive array of comprehensive, individualized services for patients.
• Perform administrative work in support of the program.
• Supervise the Recovery Support Staff (RSS) supervisors and document all supervisions in Relias.
• Oversee and assign duties to Recovery Support Staff.
• Train and onboard new RSS staff.
• Develop the weekly RSS schedule and ensure coverage for all shifts.
• On call after hours to RSS for any emergencies.
• Conduct monthly RSS staff meetings.
• Develop, with the Program Director, the RSS staff meeting agendas and attend all case conferences weekly.
