Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Recovery Support Specialist for Pathways OTP in Putnam, CT. The role is part-time, up to 20 hours per week, with scheduling Monday through Friday 6AM–2:30PM.

You will assist clients in defining recovery goals, apply motivational interventions, and collaborate to build individualized treatment plans. Qualifications include lived recovery experience, 2+ years in related work, and relevant certifications or a plan to obtain them within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Lived experience recovering from mental health or substance use required.
• 2+ years working with identified populations; RSS preferred.
• Must identify as a woman in recovery per REACH WRN.
• Certification required or to be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and advocate clients' recovery goals.
• Provide motivational interventions and educate on recovery strategies.
• Conduct program assessments and create person-centered plans.
• Deliver skills teaching and crisis de-escalation as needed.
• Maintain documentation per agency standards and participate in meetings.
• Assist with transportation and linkage to community resources.
