Spero Health, INC. seeks a Recovery Support Specialist (Case Manager) to join our teams in Owensboro, KY and Henderson, KY. This role supports integrated care with counseling, case management, and medically assisted treatment, coordinating care across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science or a Master’s in Human Services.
• Minimum of 1 year full‑time human‑services experience OR Master’s degree as defined above.
• HIPAA CFR 42 part 2 familiarity and strong documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and barriers; develop and implement treatment plans.
• Prepare, submit, and monitor prior authorization requests and related documentation.
• Collaborate with providers and clinic leadership to ensure payer approval and care continuity.
• Provide education on daily living, budgeting, medication management and recovery planning.
• Engage patients in recovery‑oriented, patient‑centered care and ensure timely documentation.

Education
