You will support an integrated care model with counseling, case management, and medically assisted treatment, helping us treat the whole person. The role emphasizes patient intake, vitals, labs, and coordination with physicians.

Responsibilities include scheduling, check-in/out, documentation in EHR, and handling insurance authorizations, while contributing to a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma.
• Experience or graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program preferred.
• CPR certification required or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments.
• Answer incoming calls and voicemails.
• Check patients in/out and manage patient flow.
• Perform urine drug screens and take vitals.
• Assist with patient evaluations and document in EHR.
• Call in medications as directed by Physician.
• Process prior-authorizations and daily financials.
• Manage cash collections and verify benefits.
• Review Prescription Monitoring Database.
• Provide patient education on medications.
