BestCare Treatment Services Inc. is seeking a Residential Associate to support clients and staff at the assigned residential program, ensuring adherence to policies and regulatory standards.
The role involves intake, information gathering, and collaboration with the treatment team to provide compassionate care. Applicants must have a high school diploma, familiarity with addiction recovery and disabilities, and relevant certifications.
The Residential Associate (all levels) works with clients and staff at the assigned BestCare residential program to provide support and assistance services, and to advocate for excellent patient care in accordance with BestCare’s policies, and all federal, state, and local regulations and standards.
1. Completes initial intakes as requested by Intake Coordinator, in accordance with BestCare’s Client Intake Process, and communicates pertinent details from intake prior to health screening to medical/nursing staff when necessary;
2. Collects client information through observation, interviews, and records review in an accurate and timely manner as appropriate to the client’s needs;
3. Work closely with other staff as a member of a treatment team;
4. Provides appropriate Client Care Interventions, as needed, and communicates the clients’ choices, concerns, and special needs to the other members of the treatment team;
5. Maintains cleanliness of all work areas;
6. Works with the treatment team to maintain a healthy treatment milieu;
7. Ensures the safety of clients by making rounds for bed checks and being aware of client locations at all times;
8. Upholds Professional Responsibility and Ethics policies and practices;
9. Maintains accurate and confidential documentation in client files;
10. Answers phones and completes filing;
11. Transports residents to medical appointments, self-help groups, etc.;
12. Performs cleaning duties as assigned;
13. Residential Associate II may have additional Team Lead responsibilities;
14. Other related duties as assigned by the Clinical Supervisor or Program Manager.
