Job summary

Gaudenzia, Inc. seeks a Recovery Support Professional for a full-time day shift at our Baltimore program. You will support men and women in recovery, reinforce routines, and help clients build skills for lasting change.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and flexibility across shifts. You will perform admission screening, coordinate activities, monitor client safety, and assist with transportation and documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing preferred.
• Ability to work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Screen and process new admissions; document hourly runs and client movement.
• Monitor client movement, maintain sign-out book and logs.
• Coordinate in-house activities per schedule (chores, breaks, exercise, visits).
• Maintain daily census; report infractions to staff.
• Conduct client orientation sessions and morning meetings.
• Transport or assist clients to appointments as needed.
• Perform room searches and random searches as directed.
• Deny access to unauthorized persons; supervise medications when needed.
• Conduct regular room checks; report unauthorized absences.
• Monitor urinalysis/drug screening and breathalyzers as instructed.
• Ensure facility safety; conduct fire drills and safety checks.
• Keep vehicles clean; perform weekly inspections.
• Maintain sanitation procedures; submit repair work orders as needed.
• Weather-related property maintenance; shoveling, salting, de-icing.
• Submit written and electronic incident reports; perform other duties as assigned.
