Qualifications

• Proficient in computer applications and electronic medical record systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, their loved ones, and other professionals.
• Ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations.
• Ability to write business correspondence, and analyze policies and procedures.
• Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Working knowledge of twelve step programs of recovery.
• Understanding, training, and application of evidence-based practices.
• Strict adherence to ethical treatment standards.
• Strong time management skills

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing encouragement, validation, and support to clients to aid them in working toward their individualized recovery goals.
• Complete biopsychosocial assessment and related paperwork upon admission.
• Facilitate psychoeducational groups.
• Facilitate discharge planning, referrals, and arrange transportation.
• Intervene with de-escalation, safety planning, and emergency response in crises.
• Utilize CBT, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care within scope to help clients achieve goals.
• Educate clients on harm reduction strategies.
• Collaborate with all departments to assess client progress and barriers.
• Maintain HIPAA and CFR42 Part 2 compliance.
• Attend mandatory clinical supervision and treatment team meetings.
