Job summary

Axiom Care in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Peer Support Specialist to provide recovery-oriented peer support within an outpatient clinic. You will greet clients, assist with check-ins, guide them to groups, and answer routine questions about services while maintaining confidentiality.

You will collaborate with clinical staff, document interactions, support front desk operations, and participate in team trainings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Peer Support Certificate required.
• Familiarity with confidentiality standards and front-desk procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support to members and promote recovery, wellness, and engagement.
• Maintain a consistent front desk presence to foster a welcoming atmosphere.
• Assist members with check-in, group location, and appointment navigation.
• Engage in respectful, recovery-focused conversations and reinforce clinic guidelines.
• Document interactions and incidents in accordance with policies and confidentiality requirements.
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and other quality care activities.
