Job summary

Granite Recovery Centers in New Hampshire seeks a Recovery Support Specialist to provide 24-hour direct supervision and non-clinical support to residents during their stay. The role emphasizes accountability, policy adherence, and compassionate guidance to promote recovery.

The RSS will monitor client behavior, assist with admissions and discharges, transport to meetings and appointments, and document observations in the EMR while supporting a team-driven, recovery-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver’s license and ability to pass NH driving record checks.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with 12-step recovery is a plus.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to log information.

Responsibilities

• Meet deadlines and provide exemplary customer service.
• Direct supervision of clients at all times.
• Enforce policies and procedures.
• Observe medication administration and maintain logs.
• Work independently or with a team to complete tasks.
• Support clients using 12-step principles in real-life scenarios.
• Act as liaison between clients and clinicians.
• Support admissions and discharge processes including documentation.
• Attend groups, take notes, and log information in EMR.
