Job summary

Granite Recovery Center in New Hampshire is seeking a dedicated Recovery Support Specialist to assist residents across treatment facilities. You will monitor patients, document daily notes in the EMR, and encourage participation in groups, appointments, and therapies.

This role emphasizes safety, collaboration with clinical staff, and a commitment to confidentiality. A high school diploma and strong interpersonal skills are required in a diverse setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work in a multicultural, community-based organization.
• Commitment to maintain confidentiality.
• Understanding of the Agency’s mission and boundaries.
• Previous experience with substance abuse preferred.
• Employment contingent upon clear UDS and criminal history record.
• Good inter-personal skills.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hourly observation checks and document in EMR.
• Complete EMR notes during the shift in a clear, timely manner.
• Recovery Support Specialist will not be pulled from their assigned patient unless absolutely necessary.
• Ensure patients attend groups and appointments, and monitor attendance sheets.
• Complete daily room checks and searches as required for safety.
• Process intakes and discharges along with related paperwork.
• Assist with transport of patients to hospital and appointments.
• Monitor all residential and detox phone calls and record in logs.
• Provide educational and support groups for patients.
