Job summary

Granite Recovery Center is seeking a Full Time Recovery Support Specialist to provide daily observation for residents in treatment and document notes in the EMR. You will guide patients toward appropriate behavior and encourage attendance at groups and appointments.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to work in a multi-cultural, community-based organization.
• Commitment to confidentiality and appropriate boundaries with staff and clients.
• Previous experience with substance abuse treatment or related fields is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete hourly observation checks for assigned patients and record proper location numbers.
• Complete EMR notes during the shift in a timely, clear manner.
• Ensure patients attend groups and medical/clinical appointments.
• Monitor patient behavior and attendance, and document any group sign-in Sheet changes.
