Job summary

Granite Recovery Center in New Hampshire is seeking a Part Time Recovery Support Specialist to provide non-clinical supervision of clients, enforce policy, and support recovery through the application of the 12 Steps in real life situations.

You will observe medication administration, transport clients to meetings and appointments, assist with admissions and discharge, document observations in the EMR, and collaborate with clinicians to encourage growth and accountability within the program.

Qualifications

• Valid NH driver’s license and ability to pass driving record checks.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 12-step recovery knowledge a plus.
• Some computer proficiency.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Excellent organization and prioritization skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Meet deadlines while providing exemplary customer service.
• Direct supervision of clients.
• Enforcement of policies and procedures.
• Observe and supervise medication administration with logs.
• Work independently or with a team to complete tasks.
• Support clients using 12 Steps in real life situations.
• Serve as an intermediary between clients and clinicians.
• Provide growth opportunities and redirection as needed.
• Assist with admissions and discharge paperwork and EMR uploads.
• Attend groups, take notes, and log information in EMR.
• Transit clients to meetings and medical appointments.
