Job summary

Snap-on Credit LLC, the financing arm of Snap-on Inc., is seeking a Recovery Specialist in Libertyville, IL. You will contact customers by phone to collect on delinquent accounts and work toward resolving balances while meeting monthly goals.

The role requires 2+ years in consumer collections, skip tracing, and strong negotiation and communication skills. This is a full-time, on-site position with comprehensive benefits and a clear path for advancement.

Qualifications

• Two years of recent consumer collections experience; willing to train the right individual.
• Skip tracing and third-party collections experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication; professional and persuasive.
• Analytical thinker with ability to meet monthly goals and work independently.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

Recovery Specialists are responsible for notifying customers of their defaulted accounts primarily through telephone to resolve their financial obligation utilizing various collection methods.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for collecting on bad debt accounts
• Achieve monthly goals
• Make outbound calls and handle inbound calls to resolve bad debt accounts
• Locate customers to resolve bad debt accounts

Qualifications

• College degree preferred but not required; equivalent work experience will also be considered
• Two years of recent consumer collections experience; willing to train the right individual
