Job summary

Snap-on Credit LLC, the financial arm of Snap-on, seeks an entry-level collector to manage early delinquent EC accounts regionally. You will direct collections, coordinate with Franchisees, and drive credit sales promotions while coordinating with Account Managers to resolve delinquencies.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree and some customer service or collections experience, with strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. This is an on-site role with normal office hours.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collect EC accounts to meet corporate/regional goals.
• Make extensive phone contact to collect on delinquent accounts.

Overview

Snap-on Credit LLC is the financial arm of Snap-on Inc., a global innovator, manufacturer and marketer of tools, equipment, diagnostics, repair information and systems solutions for professional users performing critical tasks. Products and services are sold through the company’s franchisee, company‑direct, distributor and internet channels. From our headquarters in Libertyville, IL Snap-on Credit provides financing to technicians, students of automotive technical institutions, and shop owners for the purchase of Snap-on hand tools, power tools, tool storage, and diagnostic products through our Extended Credit program.

Position Summary

Entry‑level position in which the primary responsibility is collections of early stage delinquent accounts in the Extended Credit portfolio within a regional business unit. The role involves directing and coordinating EC collections, evaluating, recommending and implementing solutions to resolve delinquency issues, and promoting Credit Sales programs to Franchisees and customers, with potential progression to an Associate Account Manager.
