New Beginnings is seeking a compassionate, organized Resource & Recovery Support Specialist to help clients access community resources and supports. You will work directly with clients to identify barriers to stability and recovery and connect them with housing, employment, healthcare, and social services.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years in human services, behavioral health, or related field preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, advocacy, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries and protect confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients in identifying and accessing community resources.
  • Help clients obtain essential documentation (ID, SSN, birth cert).
  • Navigate public benefits and government programs for clients.
  • Coordinate with counselors and frontline staff to address client needs.
  • Document contacts, referrals, and progress per policy and Maryland rules.
