Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; ongoing CCAPP/CADTP/CAADE registration is necessary.
• Minimum 6 months' experience in addiction treatment, social services, or nonprofit settings.
• Experience with individuals facing addiction, mental illness, or homelessness is essential.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, confidentiality, and teamwork under pressure are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support within addiction recovery programs alongside certified counselors.
• Assist with client screenings, treatment planning, and group sessions.
• Maintain a safe, drug-free environment and ensure policy compliance.
• Document activities accurately in databases and logs and communicate with clients and staff.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in staff trainings and meetings.
• Navigate internal and external resources to support clients.
