Job summary

Child & Family Services Inc. seeks a Recovery Support Navigator to provide screening, intake, and recovery coaching support within a trauma‑informed, person‑centered framework.

The role includes coordinating referrals, accessing treatment, and linking clients to community supports in a full‑time schedule. You will work with a care team, help set treatment goals, and assist with transportation to essential appointments while expanding services to consumers seven days per week, including after

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology or related field required.
• Minimum two years of related work experience in the addiction recovery environment or lived experience of substance use disorders and/or behavioral health conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screening and intake interviews to determine consumer eligibility for services.
• Provide trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, person-centered care based on the consumer’s needs.
• Explore treatment recovery options with the consumer, clarify goals and strategies, provide education and resources, and assist consumers in accessing treatment and community supports.
• Participate as an active care team member, help establish treatment goals as part of the comprehensive care plan, and support consumer access to services.
• Provide temporary transportation assistance to essential medical and behavioral health appointments while transitioning to community-based options.
• Deliver RSN services seven days per week, including on-call coverage and after-hours via telephonic support.
• Operate on a mobile basis to reach consumers in safe settings and maintain professional relationships with community resources.
• Maintain records as required by CFS, funders, and accreditation authorities.
• Participate in supervision and training activities as required by CFS and accrediting bodies.
