Job summary

Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience in a related field desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

  • Help clients regain independence and move from shelter to permanent housing.
  • Engage with shelter guests and build rapport to support Behavioral Health services.
  • Coordinate and conduct Behavioral Health education classes and events.
  • Assist clients with obtaining vital documents (SS cards, IDs, birth certs).
  • Arrange housing applications and accompany clients to viewings and lease signings.
  • Transport clients to appointments and support access to SSI/SSDI processes.
  • Schedule appointments with partners and providers to support housing access.
  • Safety support with other staff during outreach and visits.
