Affordable Rent is seeking a Peer Specialist to provide mentorship and support to clients with lived experience of recovery, homelessness, or behavioral health challenges. Qualifications

• Completion of accredited Peer Specialist training program.
• Basic Life Support Certification required within 30 days of employment.
• Bi-lingual English-Spanish and/or ASL preferred
• Colorado driver’s license required within 30 days of hire (except certain roles)

Responsibilities

• Provide mentorship and support to clients through lived experience to build goal-setting and problem-solving skills.
• Facilitate counseling and activities for clients in recovery from substance use disorders in individual or group settings.
• Help clients coordinate and navigate healthcare, housing, and behavioral health services with internal teams and partners.
• Transport and escort clients to appointments using CCH vehicles or approved personal vehicles.
• Collaborate with Coalition staff to maintain timely, goal-aligned services.
• Conduct ongoing client outreach within the community to assess recovery-oriented needs.
• Record all clinical and non-clinical interactions accurately in the EHR and related systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
