Must have NC CPSS certification.
High school diploma or GED required.
Self-identify as a person in recovery from a mental illness or SUD.
Supervised by a Qualified Professional (QP).
Not a family member of the beneficiary.

Responsibilities

Provide structured, scheduled peer support promoting recovery.
Collaborate with Integrated Care Teams and community resources.
Assist with housing, finances, and employment readiness skills.
Maintain documentation and compliance with department policies.
Support beneficiaries in navigating medical, social services, and legal systems.
Promote self-advocacy and empowerment for beneficiaries.
