Job summary

Ampact's Recovery Corps is seeking a Recovery Navigator to support individuals on their recovery journeys. You will meet participants, provide peer mentoring, and help navigate community resources.

The role emphasizes using your own recovery experience, building trust, documenting progress, and participating in ongoing training. This AmeriCorps position offers a structured schedule and meaningful community impact.

Qualifications

• Must be in recovery for at least one uninterrupted year.
• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Able to understand and follow instructions.
• Able to set a pace and maintain a service schedule.
• Basic computer skills (email and online navigation).
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• US citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident.
• Able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Foster strong relationships with participants.
• Lean on your own recovery experience to provide mentoring and peer support.
• Connect participants with social service resources and programs.
• Track participant recovery plan progress.
• Participate in training and professional development throughout the year.
• Share your experience with the community.
