Job summary

Recovery Corps, powered by Ampact, seeks a Recovery Navigator to support individuals in their recovery journeys. You will meet participants, provide peer mentoring, connect to social services, and help develop recovery action plans.

We value lived recovery experience, reliability, and English fluency. The program runs for 2026-27 with full-time 40 hours/week or 25 hours part-time placements; full AmeriCorps stipend and education awards apply.

Qualifications

• Must be in recovery for at least one uninterrupted year from a substance use disorder.
• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Able to understand and follow instructions.
• Able to set a pace and maintain a service schedule.
• Basic computer skills (email and navigating online).
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• 18+ with a HS diploma or equivalent.
• US citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident.
• Able to complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Foster strong relationships with participants.
• Lean on your own recovery experience to provide mentoring and peer support.
• Connect participants with social service resources and programs.
• Track participant recovery plan progress.
• Participate in training and professional development throughout the year.
• Share your experience with the community.
