Job summary

Ampact's Recovery Corps program is seeking a Recovery Navigator to support individuals in recovery. You will draw on your own recovery experience to mentor participants, help them set goals, and connect them with social services while maintaining progress on their recovery plans.

This AmeriCorps role runs Sept 2026–July 2027 with 40 hours/week, daytime hours, Monday–Friday, and full benefits including health insurance and education assistance.

Qualifications

• In recovery for at least one uninterrupted year from a substance use disorder.
• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Able to understand and follow instructions.
• Able to set a pace and maintain a service schedule.
• Fluent in English for speaking, reading and writing.

Responsibilities

• Foster strong relationships with participants
• Lean on your own recovery experience to provide mentoring and peer support
• Connect participants with social service resources and programs
• Track participant recovery plan progress
• Participate in training and professional development throughout the year, including the Peer Recovery Support training
• Share your experience with the community
