Job summary

Recovery Corps is seeking a Recovery Navigator to provide peer support, guidance, and mentoring for individuals pursuing recovery goals. You will meet with participants, help them set recovery actions, navigate resources, and track progress in a supportive, structured program.

We welcome applicants who bring personal recovery experience, strong communication, and reliable attendance. The role offers full-time AmeriCorps placement with a two-weekly paycheck and a comprehensive benefits package;

Qualifications

• Must be in recovery for at least one uninterrupted year from a substance use disorder.
• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Able to understand and follow instructions.
• Able to set a pace and maintain a service schedule based on agreed hours.
• Basic computer skills (email and navigating online).
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
• 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States.
• Able to complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Foster strong relationships with participants.
• Lean on your own recovery experience to provide mentoring and peer support.
• Connect participants with social service resources and programs.
• Track participant recovery plan progress.
• Participate in training and professional development, including Peer Recovery Support training.
• Share your experience with the community.
