Job summary

Telecare Corporation is seeking Peer Support Specialists to engage with members served, guiding them toward their recovery goals. You will promote Telecare’s Recovery Culture and work with the care team to ensure respectful, person-centered services.

Shifts vary—from part-time to full-time—and include evenings and weekends. Starting wage is competitive; geographic differentials apply and compensation reflects experience and location.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CalMHSA Certification required by October 1, 2025 and must remain current.
• Experience as a beneficiary of the Behavioral Health system of care.
• Valid and current driver’s license and personal vehicle insurance in your name.
• Willingness to use the company vehicle to transport clients to appointments and groups.

Responsibilities

• Engage, inspire, and facilitate meaningful conversations with members to support recovery goals.
• Provide consultation to the team to promote Telecare's Recovery Culture as defined by RCCS.
• Respond to critical situations with de-escalation skills to maintain a least restrictive environment for individuals in crisis.
