Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• California Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification (CalMHSA) must be obtained before hire.
• Experience as a beneficiary of Behavioral Health services is needed.
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle insurance in your name.
• Willingness to use personal vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups.
• Willingness to use Telecare vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups.
• Willingness to use personal vehicle to attend meetings.

Responsibilities

• Engage, inspire, and facilitate meaningful conversations with members to help them set and achieve recovery goals.
• Provide consultation to the team to promote Telecare's Recovery Culture (RCCS) within services and self-help programming.
• Respond to critical situations with de-escalation skills to support a least restrictive environment.
