Job summary

Telecare Corporation is seeking a Peer Support Specialist in Riverside, CA to engage, inspire, and facilitate conversations that help members pursue recovery goals. You will contribute to Telecare's Recovery Centered Clinical System by honoring each person's preferences and collaborating with the team.

The role requires a High School diploma, peer certification, and 1–2 years’ experience with psychiatric services, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must maintain peer certification throughout employment.
• California Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist certification required.
• 1–2 years experience working with clients with psychiatric challenges.
• Valid drivers license and vehicle insurance; willing to use company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Engage and facilitate conversations to support recovery goals.
• Provide team consultation to promote recovery culture.
• Respond to crises with de-escalation to maintain least restrictive environment.
