Job summary

Colorado Coalition for the Homeless seeks a Peer Specialist to support clients with lived experience, helping them overcome barriers and achieve personal goals. Qualifications

• Completed Peer Specialist training is highly preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.
• Bilingual English-Spanish and/or ASL preferred.
• Must maintain Colorado driver's license within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Mentor clients using lived experience to build skills and confidence.
• Facilitate counseling and activities for clients in recovery from substance use.
• Coordinate access to healthcare, housing, and behavioral health with internal and external partners.
• Escort clients to appointments using Coalition vehicles or approved transport.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the EHR and related systems.
