Job summary

Crossroads Turning Points in Pueblo, CO is seeking a Peer Recovery Specialist to support patients in recovery using your lived experience. You will mentor individuals, facilitate groups, and help patients build coping skills for a healthy recovery lifestyle.

You will collaborate with treatment providers and community resources to expand their social connections and navigate the recovery pathway. Applicants must have a high school diploma, at least two years in recovery, and complete a peer

Qualifications

• Lived recovery experience and active participation in recovery for at least two years.
• High school diploma or GED required; certification within 12 months preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one peer support utilizing lived experience.
• Facilitate groups in an open, welcoming environment.
• Connect with treatment providers and community resources.
• Assist clients in developing coping skills for recovery.
• Conduct outreach in collaboration with harm reduction and withdrawal groups.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and courts as needed.
