Job summary

The Association for Individual Development seeks a Case Manager Mental Health Professional (MHP) Recovery Support Specialist to join the Community Support Team, working to empower clients and promote recovery and community integration.

Responsibilities include crisis counseling, treatment and crisis plan development, thorough documentation, supervision attendance, and collaboration with families and providers, with substantial off-site client contact to meet individualized service plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Service field or High School Diploma and at least five years of experience working in the mental health field.
• CRSS (Certified Recovery Support Specialist) certification required or must be obtained after one year of hire.
• Experience: Some experience preferred, at least 5 years of experience is required for employees who do not have a Bachelor’s Degree.

Responsibilities

• Attend to scheduled work hours and be flexible to meet client and program needs.
• Act as primary to triage/delegate and absorb first calls.
• Provide effective individual crisis counseling and consult with family members.
• Complete and sign required documentation on a timely basis.
• Attend clinical supervision monthly and participate in CST meetings.
