Job summary

Connections Health Solutions in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Recovery Support Specialist (RSS) to support individuals in recovery as a positive role model and resource. The RSS collaborates with multiple disciplines to meet treatment and recovery needs in a dynamic crisis-care setting.

You will facilitate groups and individual recovery, build therapeutic alliances, document encounters, and utilize trauma-informed approaches to reduce seclusion and promote recovery pathways.

Qualifications

• At least one year of personal recovery.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Mandatory vaccination policy for all successful applicants.
• Physical requirements to support individuals in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a facilitator (or co-facilitator) in groups and individual recovery.
• Lowers seclusion/restraint through therapeutic alliance and trauma-informed care.
• Demonstrates knowledge of community resources to support recovery.
• Collaborates with multi-disciplinary team across treatment and recovery.
• Documents encounters in the electronic health record.
• Uses appropriate self-disclosure to relate to individuals.
