Job summary

Connections Health Solutions seeks a Recovery Support Specialist (RSS) to provide natural supports that sustain recovery. The RSS collaborates with diverse disciplines to meet individual treatment needs and serves as a positive example of recovery.

The role requires personal recovery experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and compliance with the company vaccination policy. Applicants should be able to perform physical interventions and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one year of personal recovery.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Vaccination policy compliance as a condition of employment.
• Physical requirements for safety and mobility.

Responsibilities

• Act as an active facilitator in groups and individual recovery, serving as a support resource throughout treatment.
• Help lessen seclusion and restraint by building therapeutic alliances and using trauma-informed care.
• Demonstrate knowledge of community resources to meet recovery needs and promote multiple paths of recovery.
• Work with a multi-disciplinary team through all aspects of treatment and recovery.
• Document encounters in the electronic health record.
• Provide support from a place of experience and willingness to share appropriate self-disclosure.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
